Moniterix wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born from the daily frustration of running an agency — knowing hours were tracked but never knowing which hours made money.

In 2024, our founder was running a digital agency with a growing remote team. Six developers and designers, scattered across time zones, juggling 15+ client projects simultaneously. The work was getting done — but he had no idea how.

Were people productive for 8 hours or just logged in for 8 hours? Which projects were eating more time than they were worth? Who was overloaded and who had bandwidth? The existing tools gave bits and pieces, but nothing gave the full picture.

"I was paying for three different tools — a time tracker, a project manager, and a monitoring app — and still couldn't tell you which client was profitable and which one was bleeding us dry."

So we built Moniterix. Not another time tracker. Not another spy tool. A platform that finally connects the dots between hours worked, orders delivered, and revenue earned — so you stop guessing and start knowing your margins.

We started with the monitoring basics — screenshots, activity tracking, clock-in/out — but quickly realized that tracking time without tracking money is pointless. So we added order management, client tracking, financial dashboards, and 7 types of reports that turn raw work data into business decisions.

Today, Moniterix is the tool we wish we'd had from day one. It's the tool we use every day to run our own agency. And now it's the tool that helps other managers stop juggling spreadsheets and start seeing the numbers that actually matter.

How we got here

Agency Pain Point

Early 2024

Managing a 6-person remote team across multiple freelance platforms with no centralized visibility. Using 3+ separate tools that don't talk to each other.

Dashboard Prototype

Mid 2024

Built the first internal dashboard to track Fiverr orders, employee assignments, and basic financials. Immediately saw the value of connected data.

Monitoring Engine

Late 2024

Added screenshot capture, activity tracking, and app intelligence. Built the desktop agent from scratch with Electron for cross-platform support.

Operations Platform

Early 2025

Expanded beyond monitoring into full operations: order management, client CRM, financial dashboards, and 7 report types. The tool became the business OS.

Public Launch

2026
